Post + Comment on Linkedin

Whenever I post something on Linkedin, I have found that it gets a lot less reach if I include a link.
My suspects seem to be confirmed by the fact that I see many people creating posts without links and closing by saying "link in the first comment".
It would be great to create post + first comment all together in Typefully.

Fabrizio why is this a separate thing than the auto-plug?
An auto-plug is literally "add an auto-comment on X" – this one is the same, but split in the LinkedIn menu. Feels very clunky.
Note: this sort of UI for CONFIGURING the auto-plug is generally better for BOTH X and LinkedIn, but the default auto-plug should be prefilled by default on both platforms.

Jordan Parker great point!
For this release we wanted to get the basics right of what LinkedIn creators asked us, which isn't to trigger comments based on certain criteria (like X autoplug) but simply to let them leave a first comment right away from Typefully.
Took a note to bring this and auto-plug closer though in terms of UX, I agree it would be better.

1000% required - it's impossible to rely on the schedule, when you then need to go and add a comment to link something

FWIW, I think this is the case for Twitter too - seeing the same behaviour from creators and also noticing some engagement dips if I include links. Not sure if they account for it being part of the original thread or a "true" reply (if there's a real difference) though.

I'd like to publish LinkedIn posts with a comment

LinkedIn de-ranks posts with external links, so it's common practice to post the link in the comment. I'd like Typefully to support me in having such posts.

LinkedIn has this weird rule where you can't post links directly in your posts. I usually schedule my posts for 10 am, but I always have meetings at 10 am! So yeah, it's basically impossible for me to respond to comments in real time. Please, add a feature that lets post links directly.
