Right now when you try to log in with any of the connected accounts active on Twitter.com you create a new account.
Would be nice if all connected accounts logged you into your actual account.
Now I have to make sure I have the same account active on Twitter.com that is the main account on Typefully.

Don't require X/Twitter account.

Would be nice if we could use Typefully without X. For example only posting to LinkedIn + BlueSky

I think this is done with the new login settings 😉

Multiple login methods are now finally available!
For the first time since we launched, you can sign up or log in with email, Google, LinkedIn, or X accounts.
This is especially powerful for teams and agencies:
- Team members can join with their email or preferred login method
- Clients can sign up directly with email or LinkedIn for example
- No X account required for collaboration
We've also made Typefully fully platform-independent, and with our improvements to the drafts auto-sync feature, you can set any platform as your primary.
You can watch a 1-minute video overview here: https://typefully.com/changelog/new-login-options-and-better-cross-posting-119

I have left X but unfortunately Typefully doesn't work without an X account. Highly suggest to prioritise alternative ways to signup/login. For the time being, I have canceled my Typefully subscription as I can't use it anymore.

My typical use case for this is, we are leaving X but have a presence on all the other social media you're handling, would be great to not just have to cancel our account 😂

+1 from me as well. I think that once you have done the first login via Twitter/bsky/etc, you shouldn't autosync by default to twitter but leverage the "local" typefully account for key data (ex. the name for the newsletter/emails I get).

Definitely needed now, as X deteriorates it’s no longer the default platform for many of us.

I even didn't realize that it's not possible. 100% should be a must have, why limiting the app to this requirement. +1

I went from Twitter Ghostwriting to Linkedin Ghostwriting and I would like to be able to connect a Linkedin account without having to go through a Twitter account.
